ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Sage Karam and the Driveway Company Chevrolet Camaro started the Nalley Cars 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 29th position. The No. 44’s starting position was determined by points due to a rain delay that didn’t allow for qualifying. This caused him to start towards the rear of the field. Karam fell back one position and at the end of Stage 1 had a 30th place finish. In Stage 2, Karam stayed out during a caution which allowed him to gain track position while still being good on fuel for the run. He closed out Stage 2 in 5th position with teammate Tommy Joe Martins finishing in 4th. This would be the first time during the season that both cars earned Stage Points. In the final stage, Karam started outside of the top 10 in 11th place after a pit stop. With 58 laps to go, a wreck in front of the No. 44 caused Karam to check up and get slight nose damage. As the race continued, the nose damage got worse, and a rear passenger window had to be replaced with 51 laps to go. With 11 laps to go, Sage Karam got collected in a wreck which caused the Driveway Company Chevrolet Camaro to retire from the race with an overall finish of 32nd place.
