Ryan Ellis and the Keen Parts/Corvette Parts Chevrolet Camaro started the United Rentals 200 at Phoenix Raceway in 35th position. The No. 44 ran a 28.66 lap time in qualifying which caused him to start towards the rear of the pack at the beginning of the race. Ellis continued to move through the field and at the end of stage 1, held on to a 30th place finish. Quick pit stops in Stage 2 allowed Ellis to gain much needed track position. He closed out Stage 2 in 21st position with teammate Kaz Grala at his heels in 22nd position. In the final stage, longer green flag runs benefited the Keen Parts Camaro. With 31 laps to go, Ellis pitted under green from 5th place with a scheduled green flag pit stop. Battling back through a competitive field, Ryan Ellis brought home a 16th place finish for Alpha Prime Racing. This is his second consecutive top 20 finish following his career best finish of 13th place the weekend prior at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
