Tommy Joe Martins and the Market Rebellion Chevrolet Camaro started the Production Alliance Group 300 in 27th position at Auto Club Speedway on February 26th. The No. 44 ran a 41.31 lap time in qualifying to earn his starting position against a competitive field of 41 cars for 38 spots. Towards the end of Stage 1, Martins began having engine issues and came onto Pit Road for an ignition swap. He finished the stage in 34th position. Continuing to battle through the engine issues, the Market Rebellion Camaro closed out Stage 2 in 34th position. In the final stage, Martins returned to pit road complaining of lack of power in the motor. The engine was checked and he returned to the field. In the final laps of the event, the 28 of Brett Moffit went into the wall causing the first overtime. Two more overtime attempts were completed to close out the race. Tommy Joe Martins finished the Production Alliance 300 in 31st position.
