Stefan Parsons & the 45 Market Rebellion Chevrolet had a 17th place qualifying effort , the best of the year for the 45 team, negated after a post-inspection penalty and had to start at the back of the 38 car field in the SRS Distribution 250 at Texas Motor Speedway. Parsons struggled to fight through the tough field at the beginning of the race before Crew Chief Frank Kerr helped the young driver out with pit strategy, putting the Market Rebellion Chevy into the top20 to begin the second stage of the race. Unfortunately, pit road penalties sent the 45 car to the back of the field again. This time, thanks to some strong adjustments and stronger driving, Parsons was able to fight his way back into position for a solid 17th place finish by the end of the event – an eventful debut for Parsons debut with the Alpha Prime Racing team.
